Our strategic alliance with Pathcare South Africa allows us access to a vast network of over 70 plus pathologists across diverse fields and expertise. Our team of pathologists lead by highly acclaimed Dr Kiran Radia (who has over 25 years of experience in laboratory medicine), are on hand to give expert advice; working closely with clinicians as well as supporting patient needs.

Service Level Agreements (Sla’S)
All credit clients must have contracts/credit application forms in place for a review before credit accounts are set up.
Review process entails:
- Confirmation of documentation relevant to the credit facility
- Completeness of information provided i.e. credit amount, referees, contact persons etc.
- Whether Credit reference information from the given referees can sustain the credit applied
During the account set-up process, the credit control department establishes:
- Credit terms and beneficial contact persons to ensure a smooth running of credit accounts
- Ensure continuous review of credit terms
- Perform analysis on customer’s financial statements as well as utilizing other available data such as payment performance, credit agency data, sales data
- Once the client is duly checked on and all data is in place, comments are written on the credit application form for signatures to be appended by the CEO and FM
Insurance Companies:
In any given month, Pathcare receives patients from various insurance companies including but not limited to:
- Jubilee Insurance company
- APA insurance company
- AAR insurance company
- UAP Insurance company
- Resolution insurance company
- Cigna international
- Africa Medilink Insurance
- Trident insurance company etc.
While seeking the service, insurance covered patients are screened by reception staff and further by the credit controller to ensure:
- The patient cover is valid and active
- The test sought for are not part of the exclusions.
- All documentation is in place i.e. duly filled claim form, request form, valid member’s card, smart report (for smart card holders) and authorization.
